Pardon Applications

The Records Unit is also responsible for performing local police records checks for pardon applicants. Pardon applicants must have a local records check performed by every police agency in whose jurisdiction the applicant has resided in the past five years. The cost is $35 (cash, Visa, Mastercard or ATM card).

Every pardon applicant must also be fingerprinted by a police agency (or authorized agent). The cost of fingerprinting is $35 (cash, Visa, Mastercard or ATM card).

Pardon application packages are available from the Records Unit of the Kingston Police.
