Kingston General Hospital's Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Program
Adult victims (16+) of Sexual Assult or Domestic Violence (<72 hours) or Pediatric Sexual Assault (0-15yrs).
  • 24/7 specialized and timely response to victims
  • Emergency medical and nursing care
  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy and HIV
  • Forensic evidence collection and documentation
  • Crisis counseling, safety planning, follow-up nursing care
  • Follow-up social work services in the community
  • Referral and co-ordination with community resources

Sexual Assault Crisis Centre
Provides counseling for survivors of sexual assault and child abuse. Offers medical and legal accompaniment, referrals, and prevention programs.

Victim Services of Kingston and Frontenac

Volunteers assist police, fire and ambulance personnel to provide on scene, short term emotional, and practical assistance to victims of crime or tragic circumstance. Clients include victims of family violence and sexual assault.

Assists victims and witnesses of crime with criminal court cases. Provides information, referral, and emotional support before, during and after court appearance.
